Javea Tourist Information

Javea
is popular with families and no package tour companies operate
here. The Arenal Beach is set in a large natural bay with
its facilities directly adjoining the sandy beach, where you can sit and
watch the children on the sand and in the sea from the comfort of a bar
or restaurant and know that are no roads to cross. You can enjoy
a free film on a large screen directly on the beach after the sun
goes down subject to season.
In
contrast there are various coves and beaches that you need to drive to
and others that need a little effort to access on foot, the choice is
yours.
Restaurants
in and around Javea abound in variety and price, a three course “Menu
Del Dia” can be had for as little of 8 or 9 euros including wine.
Javea
was once a small fishing village which has grown in popularity and can
offer something for everyone. The old fisherman’s quarter “Aduanas
de Mar” harbours a great many boats from the humble fishing fleet to
large yachts.

The Old Town “El Peublo” has a wealth of architecture, history and narrow windy streets.
In
season Javea has its share of night clubs and discos that stay open
until the early hours of the morning and rarely start before
midnight.
